General Average
General Average is a principle of maritime law, which exists independently of insurance.
Particular Average
Particular Average is a partial damage to or loss of a ship or its cargo affecting only the Shipowner or one Cargo Owner.
Salvage
Marine salvage is the process of recovering a ship and its cargo after a shipwreck or other maritime casualty.
Loss of Hire
Loss of hire insurance was rarely taken out by Shipowners before the Suez Canal crisis in 1956, when air strikes resulted in the demobilisation of several ships and the closing of the Canal.
Collision
Claims for losses and damages to goods and property arising as a result of collisions between vessels are usually very complex matters.
Third Party Liability
Our Adjusters work in teams with a combination of qualifications, training and experience, enabling us to advise on and deal appropriately with a wide range of problems arising from marine casualties.
